ABOUT THE RIDE
Enjoy the beautiful rolling hills and incredible views while trotting horseback on a 1-day ride along the trails of the McCasland, Youman, and Pig Foot Ranches in Star, Texas.
1 scenic trail ride, hamburger lunch, refreshments, games, fish fry dinner, live music, and dancing, all while helping kids in need.
The Cowpokes for Kids Charity Ride and Dinner is May 14th, 2022.
COST:
$100 Per Rider
$50 Per Non-Rider
12 and Under – Free
Includes Saturday meals, entertainment, scenic trail ride, t-shirt, and koozie.
Must bring your own horse. No horses provided.
All proceeds from the event go to New Horizons, a home for children who have experienced abuse and neglect.

DIRECTIONS
Star, Texas is located on Hwy. 84, in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, approximately 70 miles west of Waco.
- Drive to Star, TX
- At the intersection of Hwy 84 and FM 1047, turn South on FM 1047
- Drive 2.5 miles and The McCasland Ranch entrance is on the right
- We will have signs before you get to the entrance so you can slow down

We will have an auction to help round out the night of dancing under the stars. If you have an auction item to donate, bring it with you when you register.

All proceeds from the event benefit the kids at New Horizons. New Horizons provides a home and specialized treatment and care to boys and girls, ages 5 to 17, who have been removed from their home due to abuse or neglect.
